Bvlgari Man In Black is a chic masculine fragrance, belonging to the rarest type of leather perfume, launched by the jewelry brand Bvlgari in 2014 in honor of its 130th anniversary. The fragrance is a flanker of the perfume of 2010, but differs markedly from it, gaining a thicker, richer sound. The new edition is inspired by the ancient Greek legend about the birth of the fire god Hevest and has acquired a more smoky, warm, leathery breath.
Bright and charismatic perfume begins its sound with sweetish-spicy, slightly alcoholic notes of rum, flavored with warm, almost hot spices. At the heart of the fragrance, smoky and slightly harsh leather accords are softened by warm, honeyed notes of tuberose and an elegant scent of iris. In the drydown, the fragrance becomes even warmer and softer, thanks to the sweet, resinous-vanilla aroma of benzoin, the sweet-woody guaiac wood and the spicy-smoky smell of tonka beans.
