The perfume Cacharel Lou Lou was created by the French house of Cacharel inspired by the classic silent film of the thirties "Pandora's Box". Perfumers wanted to reflect the fatality and fatal beauty of the heroine named Loulou, played by the delightful Louise Brooks, in the composition of the perfume.
The uniqueness of the role of Mrs. Brooks was that the heroine had to combine the features of immaculate young beauty and the power that is inherent in a femme fatale, which is only played by inexperienced men. To get a decent result, they skillfully combined such different examples of oriental and floral notes. The indescribable maneuver of the top note attracts attention, in which the floral-fruity echo of plum and currant combines with the classic note of violet and oriental anise.
Magnetism emanates from the heart note, where orange flowers, iris, tuberose and ylang-ylang contrast. To give the composition an otherworldly fatal passion, it is completed by notes of benzoin, musk, vanilla and tonka bean.
