The new fragrance Hinoki by Comme des Garcons takes its name from the hinoki cypress, a tree that grows only in Japan and is used to build the most luxurious palaces, temples, shrines and the best wooden bathtubs for bathing. The creation of a unique fragrance by Japanese perfumers was inspired by a visit to the world-famous Tawaraya Hotel in Kyoto. It was there that they had the luxury of bathing in the early frosty morning in the fresh air in the legendary wooden ofuro baths filled with warm healing spring water.
The perfumers tried to convey all the wealth of aromas that fascinate early spring mornings in the unique Hinoki composition. From the first seconds, she charms with a rich, rich aroma of precious wood, and then envelops her with green smells, gentle touches of relaxing incense and accords of wood moss.
The woody-fresh aroma of Hinoki will envelop you in mysticism and unforgettable emotions that you will want to feel again and again.
