The Nobile collection of the Italian perfume house Acqua Di Parma was replenished in 2014 with a new fragrance dedicated to the rose. Rosa Nobile will join the luxurious, sophisticated and very elegant line, which already includes Iris Nobile, Magnolia Nobile and Gelsomino Nobile, inspired by iris, magnolia and jasmine, respectively.

Following the Italian style and tradition of choosing only the finest ingredients for their compositions, Acqua Di Parma has placed in the heart of Rosa Nobile a special kind of centipedal rose, grown only in Italy. Rosa Nobile opens with a luminous, juicy, very Italian blend of bergamot and mandarin, spiced with a pinch of tart black pepper. The floral heart of the fragrance is dominated by Italian centipedal rose, surrounded by fresh lilies of the valley, velvety violets and delicate peonies. A base of dry, refined woody accords of cedar, complemented by ambergris and sensual musk, completes the look.

The main ingredient of Acqua Di Parma Rosa Nobile, a special type of centipedal rose, is grown in Piedmont, on a small organic plantation near the city of Alba. To obtain perfume raw materials, the buds of these roses are collected at dawn, while the flowers are still damp from dew. The collection lasts 40 days in May-June, when the aroma of roses is most intense.
