The novelty of 2016 from Christian Dior is called Poison Girl, which, as you might guess, refers us to the classic Poison line of this house. The "poison" of this perfume differs from its predecessors in its youth and beauty. It seems that perfumer Francois Demachy this time decided to take a fresh look at the classics, making it more modern, youthful and groovy. However, this does not mean at all that the perfume turned out to be “girlish”: it is not in vain that this author “penned” such legends as J`Adore L`Or for Christian Dior or L'Acquarossa for Fendi!
The composition opens with a note of bitter orange, which sounds bold and straightforward, immediately drawing attention to its owner. In the notes of the "heart", however, there is no trace of a somewhat defiant chord of citruses - upon closer acquaintance, it turns out that we have a very romantic person in front of us, because this is the impression that the flower duo of Grasse and Damask roses leaves. In the finale, floral overflows smoothly melt in the arms of a sweet trail of vanilla, almond and sandalwood, backed by tonka bean and tolu balsam. Is it possible to resist such a girl?
