In 1999, Japanese fashion house Comme des Garcons introduced a luxurious unisex fragrance called #2. The world-famous English perfumer Mark Buxton was inspired to create a magnificent oriental composition by the unusual, breathtaking scent of sumi, the legendary calligraphy ink that was made in the temples of Japan. The enticing composition is revealed by a combination of light and light artificial aldehydes accentuated by natural extracts of juicy citrus fruits and elegant magnolia.
The heart of the fragrance is composed of rich black ink accords framed by notes of nutmeg, angelica root and coriander. The combination of classic accords of patchouli, cedar, vetiver and juniper oil, as well as noble incense, completes the exquisite aroma. Fragrance #2 is housed in an original pebble-shaped silver bottle, which perfectly emphasizes the uniqueness of this exquisite oriental perfume.
