In 2005, French perfume house Creed introduced a fragrance called Original Santal, a modern interpretation of a perfume created in the 19th century by order of the Austro-Hungarian emperor Franz Josef. The composition is based on royal sandalwood, the fragrance of which has fascinated perfumers for many centuries.
The nobility and sensuality of Mysore sandalwood is in perfect harmony with the bright and rich notes of cinnamon, coriander and juniper berries, which give the fragrance an amazing radiance and sparkle. Gradually, the top chords soften and warm, slightly smoky woody overflows come to the fore, accentuated by accents of delicate lavender, orange tree leaves, spicy rosemary and invigorating undertones of ginger. Fabulous vanilla combined with tonka bean completes an amazing composition.
The rich fragrance, dominated by noble sandalwood, brings inner peace to those who wear it. Surround yourself with an aura of relaxation and meditation with Original Santal.
