In February 2016, Davidoff launched Horizon, a fragrance for men that symbolizes the connection between earth and air, inspired by the forces of nature. The element of water, which marked the famous Cool Water, is combined in the new fragrance with the element of air. Horizon represents freedom, the spirit of adventure and new discoveries.
The composition was created by perfumers Olivier Pescheux and Jacques Huclier from woody, spicy and aromatic accords.
The fresh start combines the sharpness of grapefruit and the sweetness of tangerine with rosemary and fresh ginger.
Cedarwood and nutmeg are placed in the heart of the composition along with patchouli, black sesame seeds and South American pepper.
The depth and sensuality of the composition is provided by vetiver and cocoa bean absolute in the base.
