The debut woody fragrance with the frivolous name Girl was introduced to the world in 2014 by perfumer Pharrell Williams. And if the name came out really frivolous, then the perfume turned out to be thoughtful and complex, with conflicting emotions. Like a real Girl.
The top notes of eau de parfum are not long, but catchy accords of white pepper, neroli and lavender. Light and carefree, this mix quickly gives way to notes of "heart", revealing the complexity of styrax, tenderness of violet and elusive iris. But as all girls and girls grow up, so on the body the aroma of Girl matures and unfolds with a final woody note. It remains on the body with warm sandalwood, cedar, patchouli and vetiver. It is the final note, rich in woody shades, that makes perfume connoisseurs break the spears, classifying the fragrance as either a woman's or a unisex one. Which, undoubtedly, does not make it worse, but on the contrary, proves its originality and complexity.
